PAPAKURA METHODISTS

“THE HOLY CITY” PRESENTED The Papakura Methodist Choir yesterday celebrated Music Week Sunday by presenting “The Holy City.” The Methodist Hall was well filled. The Rev. J. F. Martin spoke briefly on the Ministry of Song. The choir, which consists of 22 voices and is conducted by Mr. T. C. Seaton, gave an excellent performance and the congregation was delighted with the music. The solos were taken by Mesdames Baulf, Denize, Lever and Splinger, Miss King and Messrs. King and Seaton. The chorus work was very effective, especially in the finale, "Great and Glorious Are Thy Works.”
