Press Association WANGANUI. Sunday. The West Coast harriers’ championship race was decided yesterday afternoon in fine weather. The first man home was H. Brown, of New Plymouth, who was followed 20 seconds later by K. Johnston, of Wanganui A team. The following were the times of th€* first three men home: —U. J. Brown, New Plymouth A, 39m 355, 1; K. Johnston, Wanganui A, 40m 40s, 2; C. Weller, Wanganui A, 40m 50s, 3. The teams’ match was won by Wanganui A, with 20 points. New Plymouth A was second.
