CONGRESS OF COMPOSERS

The World Congress of Authors and Composers met in Budapest during the last part of May. Seventeen nations were represented. Four previous meetings were held in Paris, Rome, Berlin and Madrid. The 120 visitors were greeted by the Hungarian Minister of Fine Arts, Count Kuno Klebelsberg; Mayor Eugen Sipocz and other dignitaries. They were kept occupied during every spare moment with receptions, or viewing and hearing characteristic Hungarian art, music and drama.
