FILM project that will have far-reaching results in America, where the “colour bar” is so strong and apparently indestructible and insurmountable, is Lillian Gish’s announced intention of making a screen version of “Othello,” reports “Film Weekly.” Lillian, of course, would appear as Desdemona and Paul Robeson, the negro actor, who is at present playing the name-part on the London stage, as the Moor.
