MUNICIPAL BAND

Performances will be given by the Municipal Band at the Zoological Park at three o’clock on Sunday afternoon, and in the Town Hall on Sunday evening at 8.30. Special programmes will be presented. At the zoo the band will play “The Merry Wives of Windsor” overture; “lolanthe” selection; Moszkowski’s suite, “Aus Aller Herren Lander”; instrumental solos by Messrs. J. Purchase and Fred Bowes: together with other bright numbers, tuneful marches, and popular hymn tunes. In the evening the band presents Beethoven’s great overture to “Leonore” in its completeness with tympani.
