TIME OF STARTING In recent weeks, owing to the heavy yardings of young calves, the pig sale at Westfield on Wednesdays has often not started till late in the afternoon. The Auckland Stock Auctioneers’ Association now announces that, from next Wednesday, a start will be made on the pigs not earlier than 2 o’clock, but not later than 2.30. irrespective of the size of the calf offering.
