RESTLESS NIGHT
BIRKENHEAD IS WEAKER BULLETIN SAYS CONDITION SERIOUS British Official Wireless Reed. 12.20 p.m. RUGBY, Thursday. A bulletin issued this morning stated that Lord Birkenhead had very little sleep last night and consequently there is a slight increase in his weakness. His lung condition still remains satisfactory. A second bulletin issued this afteraoon says Lord Birkenhead had had a quiet day, but his condition still remains serious. ANXIETY FOR DUKE British Official Wireless Reed, 12.10 p.m. RUGBY, Thursday. A bulletin regarding the Duke of Northumberland states that despite a fair night his condition is unchanged and grave anxiety is still felt.
