KNOCKED DOWN ON ROAD 4 A verdict of accidental death was returned by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, yesterday afternoon, at the adjourned inquest concerning the death of Mr. Jesse Mason, aged 66. Air. Mason was knocked down by a motor-cycle ridden by Mr. Cedric Taylor, on the Groat North Road. New Lynn, on July 19. While lying unconscious on the road he was run ovdr by a motor-lorry which passed across his legs. The injured man died in the Auckland Hospital on July 20.
