A new invention has just been put on the market in London for swimmers in the shape of webbed gloves, which enable the wearer to swim with the ease a duck obtains-from its webbed feet, and incidentally they also give added buoyancy. A somewhat similar method of instructing novices in swimming has been used by the well-known Auckland coach, Mr. D. B. Anderson for some years past.
