True Economy Simply Consists in Making Money Go Further
TO stop spending because of bad times only makes things worse. If consumption falls, production slackens off, employment diminishes, and the Wa ge fund grows smaller than ever. The wise citizen endeavours to purchase more for his money. If sixpence can be made to do the Work of a shilling then the sixpence saved is available for something else.
