BEEF MARKET EASIER Special to THE SUN HAMILTON, Tuesday. A heavy yarding of ox and cow beef came forward at the stock sales at Frankton today. Bidding was slack and decreases ruled in both lines. CITRUS FRUIT CULTURE TAURANGA EXPERIMENTS Special to THE SUN TAURANGA. Tuesday. Mr. L. M. Estcourt, orchard instructor. is visiting the Tauranga orchards in connection with citrus culture. He is accompanied by Mr. Hudson, crop experimentalist, and by Mr. Dallas, who represents tho horticultural division on the plant research station at Palmerston North. The local experimental work is being carried out at Mayfield Brothers’ orchards at Bethlehem. Dr. Cunningham. Government mycologist, met members of the Citrus Growers’ Association last evening. As a result of his investigation, manurial experiments will be carried on with tho co-operation of the local growers, under the supervision of Mr. Estcourt.
