X.SAV. JUDGE DEAD.—The death has occurred at Sydney of Mr. H. M. Hamilton, formerly a Judge of tho New South Wales District Court and Quarter Sessions. Deceased was a leading golfer and was vice-president of the Royal Agricultural Society. He was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in IS7S, anod was counsel to the Treasure on the northern circuit. England, ISS4-9. Mr. Hamilton was almost continuously an acting-District Court Judge in Xcw South Wales from 1900 to 1914, when hr was appointed permanently. He retired from tho I Dench in 1924-
