£50,000,000 ON SHIPS
GAPS IN BRITAIN’S NAVY LEFT BY TREATY NEW SCHEDULE DRAWN LONDON, Monday. In order to remedy deficiences under the London Naval Treaty the Navy staff has presented a new jn-o-gramme. This includes four cruisers, of B,GOO tons, each armed with G-inch guns, one airplane-carrier of 12,000 tons, also an additional 15 aviation corps. The expenditure involved is £50,000,000.
