Joseph Hislop, the tenor with the golden voice. Mr. Hislop is famous all over the world, and has, of course, sung with distinguished success at Covent Garden.
In “The Loves of Robert Burns.” at the Victoria Theatre, he enacts the title role, and his singing of such national-loved airs as “Auld Lang Syne,” “Cornin’ Through the Rye,” and “Annie Laurie” are among the most joyous moments of the film. A second feature i« being shown in “Sailors Holiday,” a gay comedy.
