MR. W. ROSS
Mr. William Ross, a prominent Freemason of Palmerston North, has died at the age of 69. He was born in Dunedin and spent his early days in Palmerston, Otago. After spending some years farming, he joined the Maxine Department and was stationed at various lighthouses. From IS9O until he retired three years ago. he was inspector of stock for the Department of Agriculture at Johnsonville, Gisborne. Pahiatua and W oodville. Since his retirement he had lived at Palmerston North.
