VICTORIA, DEVONPORT
“The Loves of Robert Burns” is the chief of the two big talkies now* at the Victoria Theatre, Devonport. The story is a most interesting one and is enriched with several fine old Scottish songs. The leading role is played by Joseph Hislop, the wellknown English tenor. A second attraction is being shown in “Sailors’ Holiday,” a bright tale of two American navy men on leave. Alan Hale and Sally Eilers are the stars.
William Davidson and Morgan FarI ley have been assigned important sup--1 porting roles in Gary Cooper’s latest ; all-talking picture, tentatively titled, : "Man from Wyoming.” June Collyer i is featured in the feminine lead and Regis Toomey and Fred Coppins are J also in tiie cast.
