SLIPPED ON ROCKS
MAN’S THIGH FRACTURED Through slipping on the rocks at end of Brown’s Bay, Mr. Ernest Bradburn suffered a fracture of a thigh and wrist, and lay crippled for half an hour before his cries attracted attention. The accident occurred shortly before dusk on Saturday evening. Mr. Bradburn is a. married man. aged 58, and lives at 17 Hinemoa Street, Grey Lynn. A woman who was walking along the shore head his cries for help. The North Shore Ambulance was called, and the injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
