ROTARY CONVENTION
ADDRESS BY DISTRICT GOVERNOR A chatty address concerning the numerous personalities he met while attending the recent Rotary Convention at Chicago was given by Mr. H. Guthrie, District Rotary Governor, at the Auckland Rotary Club luncheon today. Mr. Guthrie returned by the Aorangi. "On several occasions during the convention, which lasted five days, we heard references made to New Zealand. Mr. Clinton Anderson, who is an international director, in his paper on Community Service, made special reference to many New Zealand clubs and the fine spirit which existed there,” said Mr. Guthrie. For nearly an hour Mr. Guthrie addressed the Auckland Rotarians and introduced into his talk many persontal touches and sidelights of the convention.
