STATISTICS OF THE BUDGET DEBATE 42 SPEAKERS HAD TURNS THE SUX'S Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, Friday. The Budget debate, which concluded in tbe House of Representatives today, occupied approximately 42 hours of Parliament’s time, and was spread over seven and a-half days before the Hon* settled down to consideration of the first item of the Estimates. Altogether there were 42 speakers, with Reform and Babour supplying most of the oratory. Ten Government members spoke, 14 Reformers, 13 Babour members, three Independents, one Country Party and one independent Reform. Mr. W. B. Bysnar, who voted with the Government on tbe noconfidence motion by the Beader of the Opposition, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates.
