J.C.W. ENDS FREE TICKET LIST

J. C. Williamson, Ltd., has decided to discontinue the issue of free theatre tickets. In a statement in Sydney recently, “The Firm” says that, though it has been the custom for years to extend the hospitality of the theatres to many people, from the Governor-General downward, there has never been behind it any hope for advantage come. If that hospitality is to be misconstrued, the firm welcomes the opportunity of discontinuing this “unnecessary incubus on its business.”
