ADDRESS ON “WORLD PEACE” The Remuera Branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union held the usual monthly meeting: on Thursday afternoon in the Methodist Hall, when Mrs. Kasper presided over a good attendance of members and friends. The principal item was an instructive address on “World’s Peace” given by Miss Lilian Edger, M.A, Pianoforte and vocal solos added to the enjoyment of the afternoon. The monthly meeting of the Takapuna Branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held on Thursday afternoon in the Milford Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan-Richards presided. Delegates were appointed to attend the annual district convention, which is to be held in Auckland next months. An address was given by the Rev. R. L. Walker.
