Was not the picture an exhibition of law-breaking in a friendly state? Was it not vulgar where it was not indecent? Would it not have a vicious influence? Mr. P. Fraser (Labour —Wellington Central): What picture? Mr. Fletcher: “Anna Christie.” rot!” boomed Mr. Fraser. “It is one of the finest pictures ever shown in New Zealand!” avowed Mr. E. J.
