FIRM PRICES ALL ROUND FEU-piNG. Friday. Large yardirigs of dairy cattle, fat 1 cattle and fat and store sheep were . penned at the stock sale today and , prices generally were in favour of ven- ‘ dors. Hairy cattle, especially, found j u. ready market. Fat sheep sold readily at prices firm at late rates. ] There was a rise in the prices of cattle ( and good lines' found buyers at up tc { 32s a 1001 b for prime cow and heifer • beef, and 33s for bullock beef. Prices were:— Sheep: Fat lambs, « extra prime, 25s 6d to 27s 6d; prime, . 17s 6d to 18s 7d; medium, 14s 3d to 16s 9d; fat ewes, prime, 20s to 22s sd; good, 17s to 19s; black face two-tooths, 1 23s Id: store, two-tooth ewes, run- \ ning with Romney rams, 21s 6d; four and -six-tooth ewes, running with | Southdown rams, 245; two-tooth, 19s; empty ewes, two-tooth, 17s 4d; lambs. ■ good. 14s 9d; two-tooth wethers, good, J 17s Id to 18s 6d; w ether lambs, good, 14s 5d to 15s; medium, 12s to 12s 7d; ewe lambs, very good, 20s to 245; good, 16s to 17s Od; ewe hoggets/ good, 24s 7d.
