GAVE HIMSELF UP

SEAMAN PROHIBITED Dismissing a charge of being idle and disorderly, with insufficient lawful means of support, Mr. F. K. I-lunt, S.M., ordered William McFarlane Brander, a seaman, aged 46, to take out a prohibition order. “He and his wife are separated,” said Mr. Schramm, who appeared for accused. “He was before the Court last week ou a charge of breaking into a safe at her home, and stealing jewellery. When she advertised her loss he gave himself up to the police. Drink is his trouble.” Mr. Hunt dismissed the ease and ordered Brander to take out a prohibition order.
