NEW MASONIC TEMPLE

OPENING CEREMONY HELD The official opening of the Masonic Temple in St. Benedict’s Street was held last evening. The Provincial Grand Master, Mr. Oliver Nicholson, performed the opening ceremony. The plans of the building were presented to and accepted by him from the architect. Mr. Nicholson paid a tribute to tlie work of the architect and workmen, who had devoted their entire energies to the erection of the building. About 700 were present at the opening, which was held in the Doric Room, and a banquet was held later, when ::. fine musical programme Mas presented. An inspection of the other rooms was made by members of the lodge.
