JOURNEY THROUGH PROVINCE •Neither of us wants tlie trip again.” So writes Mr. Edwin Moyle. of Whakatane, who, with Mr. .1. Kellar, of Opotiki, has completed a cycling journey from "Whakatune to Auckland, via Rotorua and Hamilton, returning through Paeroa and Tuuranga. Apart from considerable head winds and snow near Rotorua, the cyclists accomplished the journey to Auckland without great interruption, and, in fast time but, on the home trip, punctures and mechanical faults were frequent. Between Paeroa and Tauranga they had 13 punctures. A motor-truck carried thorn into Tauranga. On the following day. a commercial traveller caught up with Mr. Moyle and carried him and his machine in a car as far as Avakeri. five miles from the cyclist’s destination.
Mr. Kellar had reached Matata, about IS miles from Whakatane, before he was assisted. Both the cyclists had been drenched by a downpour of rain.
