SCHEME IN DUNEDIN COUNCIL AND GOVERNMENT Press Association D UNEDIN, Wed n esday. The Government lias made an offer to the Dunedin City Council to put in hand work costing £10,400 on the Whare Flat Road for relief of unemployment. The offer is conditional on the council paying annual maintenance up to £2OO a year and the Taieri County Council paying up to £SO. The local bodies have agreed to the conditions, with the result that the work will be 1 started at an early date.
