The vessel will berth at Queen’s Wharf to unload cargo for Auckland to the agenev of the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. PASSENGERS ON MOOLTAN.—Russell and Somers, Limited, has received advice that the following passengers for New Zealand are travelling by the P. and 1 o. liner Mooitan, which is due at Svdney from London today. CARGO FROM -MEXICAN PORTS.— Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited, advises that the Norwegian motor-ship bernwood. with asphalt from Tampio., and general cargo lrom other Gulf or Mexico ports, was to be dispatched from her final loading port early this month for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton- Dunedin, Wanganui, Sydney and Melbourne. She is expected to reach Auckland about the middle of September. CARGO FROM SC ANDI NA V I A.— The steamer An ten has been fixed to load at Scandinavian ports for Auckland. Wellington, and Bluff. She is to clear her final port early in September for Auckland direct, where she is due about the middle of ODctober. The Anten is a steel single-screw oil-burning steamer of 5.135 tons gross, built in 1920 by W. Doxford and Sons, Ltd.. Sunderland, for the Swedish Rederiaktied Trans-Atlantic Company. She left Port Pirie on April 14 for Europe. Tt is expected that Spedding, Ltd., will act as agent for the Anten. ALEXANDER TO BE CONVERTED.— Since the conversion some time ago of the Richardson Company’s steamer Koutunui into a motor-vessel, nearly a dozen other small coastal steamers have been, or are being, converted into motor-ships. It is now understood that the Anchor Company intend similarly to convert the Alexander into a motor-vessel. She is to lay up at Nelson shortly, where she will be thoroughly overhauled and renovated, and will probably be fitted with heavy oil engines. The Alexander is a steel twin-screw steamer of 377 tons gross, and was built in 1903 by Mackie and Thomson, Glasgow, for the Anchor Company. RANGITI KI REACHES WELLINGTON.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki, from London and Southampton, berthed at Wellington at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Some of the passengers left for Auckland by the 7.15 p.m. train, and others will leave for Auckland by the two o’clock train this afternoon. Their baggage will be forwarded by the Waipiata, which is due at Auckland about Monday. The Rangitiki left again early this morning for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, to unload her general merchandise cargo. On completion of discharge the vessel will commence loading at Bluff for her Homeward voyage, her other loading ports being Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. She is due at Auckland on September 11, and will be despatched for Southampton and London on September 16.

THE ULIMAROA.—The* HuddartParker Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa is to sail from Wellington at noon tomorrow with passengers. mails and cargo for Sydney. Sbe is due at Sydney on Tuesday morning. RANGITANE REACHES PANAMA.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitane, en route from Wellington to Southampton and London, arrived at the Panama Canal on Tuesday. She was two days ahead of scheduled time. WAIOTAPU DUE SUN DAY.—Radio advice from the cargo steamer Waiotapu states that she expects to arrive here from Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. The vessel is laden with lumber. oil and general cargo. No berth had been allotted her this morning. TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY—The Union Company advises that the Island passenger steamer Tofua is to be dispatched at 11 o’clock on Saturday morning with passengers, mails and cargo for Fiji. Tonga, Niue and Samoa. She is calling at Niue Island in order to pick up a consignment of fruit. HIKURANGI TO BERTH.—Spedding. Ltd. advises that the steamer Hikurangi is to berth at Central Wharf to load for Norfolk Island. Cargo will be received on Saturday morning and up till noon on Monday. She is to sail for Norfolk Island at 3 p.m. on Monday. CANADIAN CRUISER REPORTS. — Tho Canadian National steamer Canadian Cruiser will arrive from Montreal on Sunday evening or Monday morning, according to her wireless advice. The vessel has a general merchandise cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, LytCORINTHIC SAILS TOMORROW.— Now at Prince's Wharf completing discharge ot the last of her cargo of genera! merchandise from London, the White Star liner Corinthic is to be dispatched at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Lyttelton to commence her Homeward loading. Her local agent is A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd. . AORANGI DUE SUNDAY.—The Roya! Mail motor-liner Aorangi was due at Suva from Vancouver at 11.30 o'clock this morning according to her wireless advice. The vessel is scheduled to leave Suva at 5.30 p.m. today for Auckland, and is due here on Sunday afternoon. After pratique has been granted slie will berth at Prince’s Wharf to land passengers, mail* and cargo for New Zealand. The Aorangi is scheduled to sail again at 10 o’clock on Monday night for Sydney ill completion of her voyage. WARSHIPS MOVEMENTS.—H.M.S. Dunedin sails this afternoon at 5 o’clock for Southern ports on a three months’ cruise. She will call at Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin and at the beginning of October will return to Wellington to enable the crew to carry out annual musketry course. Tho return trip to Auckland will be made via Nelson, New Plymouth and Napier. The vessel is due at Auckland at the beginning of November. THE RON A.—The Colonial Sugar Refining Company’s steamei* Rona, after completing discharge at Chelsea Wharf of the local portion of her cargo of molasses and raw sugar from Fiji, is to bertli either this evening or tomorrow morning at Central Wharf to load a quantity of phosphates for discharge in Fiji on her next trip. The vessel is to sail late tomorrow evening or early on Saturday morning for Sydney to complete unloading her present cargo. PORT ALMA DUE SUNDAY. —According to her last wireless advice, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line vessel Port Alma is due in the stream here from London at noon on Sunday. The vessel will anchor at the Motuihi powder grounds to put out a quantity of explosives. She has a number of passengers for New Zealand, who will be brought in to port by tender. Tile Port Alma is expected to berth on Tuesday morning at the wharves to discharge alvout 4,000 tons of genera] merchandise for Auckland to the agency of Heathei' Roberton, Ltd.
