FIRE IN TIMBER YARD

A stack of timber caught fire this morning in a yard in Jellicoe Street. Slight damage was done to the stock. The yard is used by Smith and Smith. The City Fire Brigade answered the call at 7.11 a.m., and suppressed the flames before any serious harm was caused.
