MR. M.'WHITEHEAD Mr. Matthias 'Whitehead, an old resident of Thames, died on Sunday evening at the age of 82. He had lived at Thames for nearly 52 years and was at one time on the Thames Borough Council. MRS. J. W. KENDERDINE-WEBB The death lias occurred in England of Mrs. J. \V. Kenderdine-Webb, eldest aughter of the late Dr. T. B. Kenderdine, who was born in Auckland <»S ears ago and lived here until her marriage 30 years ago. MR. W. CHOWEN The death* of Mr. William Chow erf? of Palmerston North, occurred sudienly at Wellington. Mr. Chowen was bom in England. After coming to \’ew Zealand, he farmed at Marton, liaumai, Okato, Te Roti (Taranaki), •nd Colyton. In 3 919 ne went to Aokautere, where he liv,ed for six years. He then took up residence at Palmer-' ston North. MR. R. ROBINSON Mr. Reuben Robinson, who died in fin Auckland private hospital yesterday at the age of 92, went to sea at an ‘•Mly age, and had an adventurous 1 Teer in various parts of the world. Jn 1862 lie came to New Zealand and n?aged in gold prospecting in Marlorough and Nelson, later taking uo 'ntracting in Hawera, where he lived ‘ or many years. Mrs. Robinson died a years ago, and Air. Robinson went 10 live with a daughter at Mount Albert. He is survived by three daughters. MR. H.
