DRIVER’S HEAD INJURED ACCIDENT IN SOUTH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Injuries to the head were received by >lr. James Stafford, veterinary siygreon, of Springston, when bis motor-car was .struck by a Christcliurch-bound .express train at Dunsandel at 4.30 p.m. today. The car was passing over a level crossing when the train struck it and carried it for 20yds. Mr. Stafford, who was rendered unconscious, received medical attention and was brought to Christchurch on the train. At Christchurch he recovered consciousness, and was able to walk to the ambulance which t:>ok him to the hospital.
