UNDER A CLOUD
HAROLD LOGAN, who promised to start one of the hottest favourites of the Addington August meeting, is under treatment by Mr. J. Stafford, veterinary surgeon, and it is quite on the cards that he will not be a starter at the approaching meeting (says our Christchurch correspondent) About a year ago Harold Logan was operated on for splint trouble and it is feared that he will not remain sound enough to survive the preparation that is now neces sary to qet him to the races. (This will be bad news for his numerous Auckland admirers who have been waiting for Harold's next start, to get, as they anticipated, more easy money.)
