FIERCE RUSH TO SCENE OF LUCKY FIND NUGGET WEIGHS 20 OUNCES M ELBOURNE, Sunday. An opossum trapper, Mr. Arthur Goltz, picked up a nugget of gold weighing about 20oz two days ago in a forest reserve near Tarnagulla, 32 miles from Bendigo. The neighbourhood formerly was famous for rich claims from which fortunes were won. Mr. Goltz wqs on his way home from a trapping excursion when he noticed the gold showing. A rush for the locality has now set in. Motor-cars, lorries, and horsedrawn vehicles, all loaded with men supplied with picks and axes, are being frantically driven to the spot. Hundreds of acres of virgin ground are available.
