W. J. Poison, M.P., arrived on tlii Limited this morning. IVIr. J* E. Henry s, racing handicapper, was a passenger on the Limited {his morning. S. Kronfeld, Island representative for John Burns and Co., Ltd., returned to Auckland this morning by the Tofua. Mr. S. J. Collins, who has been reorganising the Reparations Estates in Western Samoa, returned to Auckland by the Tofua this morning. Mr. P. Hally. Conciliation Commisgioher. left by train for Wellington last evening, and expects to return to Auckland about the end of the week, Mr. R. Campbell Begg, surgeon, who has been on a visit to Great Britain and the Continent, will return to Wellington by the Makura at the end of this month. Mr. B. C. Robbins. Mayor of Tauranga, arrived in Auckland last evening, and is staying at the Royal Hotel. Mr. W. H. Gummer and Mi". C. R. Ford left for Wellington by train last evening. Professor J. Macmillan Brown, Chancellor of the University of Xew Zealand. who is at present on a trip to England, expects to leave there on his return to New Zealand on November £1 by the Rangitiki. Professor Macmillan Brown intends to tour the Continent by car as far as Vienna. Sir Hugh Allen, director of the Royal College of Music, London, and a member of the Associated Board o” the K.A.M. and R.C.M.. will arrive in Auckland from Wellington on Wednesday morning.
