HUNT CLUB RUN
PAKURANGA’S GOOD DAY A large field spent an enjoyable day with the Pakuranga Hunt Club on Saturday. several good hares beir.c raised, and one killed. The hounds met at Homai at 11.30, and went toward Alanurewa on a fast run. They ran their game to earth after a chase in a wide circle to the left. Scenting again on Mr. Finlayson’s farm, the hounds raised a hare, which gave a great run of five miles before it was lost through the appearance of fresh hares. Air. Clutha Mackenzie entertained the members at his home at Homai at the conclusion of the day’s sport.
