Waiwera Pacers Arrive at Epsom
W. TUKE’S CHARGES PROMISING FILLY Trainer Tuke, who for the oast two months has been stationed at Waiwera. attending to the Evens team, has joined the actives at Epsom, having secured boxes handy to the track. He was at Alexandra Park on Saturday with two pacers, both of which bear signs of careful attention. The elder member of the duo is none other than the gay deceiver, Moko rtw an aged son of Peter Moko. from a Coolgardie mare. Moko Chief has repeatedly shown on the tracks that he is endowed with plenty of speed, but has not proved himself a generous racehorse. He will, however, be given every opportunity to make amends under his present supervisor. A Quality Filly A “real lady” sums up the three-year-old filly which has accompanied the older horse to Epsom. She is by Nelson Bingen, from a Coolgardie mare, and quality is plainly stamped all over her. The filly favours the pacing business, and already she can show a pleasing gait. Trainer Tuke will give her ample time to mature and on appearances it will noX be surprising to find her lator on bearing th# popular Evans livery with descrvai success.
