SUSPENSION OF LICENCE An application to have the period of the suspension cf his driving licence reduced made by Henry Gage, a farmer, of Papatoetoe. in the Onehunga Police Court on July 21. was refused this morning bv Mr. F. H. Levien. ~.M.. who had reserved his decision. Mr. Levien said he could not do anything ir. the matter and the order would have to stand. Sergeant D. J. O'Neill, who opposed the application, based his objection on the ground that the Motor Vehicles Act, 1924, did not give a magistrate any power to cancel disqualifications of licence-holders.
