STRUCK TROUBLE EARLY
AIRMAN SPENDS NIGHT IN BITTER COLD IDENTIFICATION MYSTERY Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The aviator, A. T. Cunningham, who is flying to England, had his first mishap yesterday, and was forced to land in a swamp when nearing Longreach. He spent the night in bitter cold and reached Longreach today. He now explains the mystery con cerning his identification. He did not want his relatives to know about his big adventure. He says he has no intention of try ing to beat Hinkler’s record.
