A Maori mission Sunday will take placo at the Cathedral, Parnell. In tho morning Canon Fancourt will speak on Samuel Marsden; in the evening on “A Maori Girl’s Little Gospel.” * * * Canon Grant Cowen will conduct the morning service at St. Matthew’s, W"ellesley Street. The Rev. Walter Averill will preach in evening. The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh will preach on “Compensation” and “The Splendid Simplicities of Christianity,” at St. Paul’s, Devonport. * * The Rev. W. Gilmour will preach at both services in the Balmoral Presbyterian Church. “Grace” will be the Rev. T. N. Cuttle’s service at morning service in the Somervell Presbyterian Church, Remuera. * * * The Rev. George Frost will conduct the morning service at the Methodist Central Mission, Airedale Street. An evangelistic service will be held af France Street in the evejiing. “The Wicked Will Not Be Tormented For Ever” will he the sermon at the Christadelphians’ meeting. “Love” will be the subject at the Christian Science services at the First Church of Christ, Scientist. The Rev A. S. Wilson will conduct both services at the Grange Road Baptist Church. * * • “Perseverance” will be Mrs. V. J Moller’s subject at the morning service in the Auckland Higher Thought Temple. In the evening Mr. Walker will speak on “Dreams and Visions.” * * ♦ The series of Unity Hall lectures will be continued tomorrow afternoon, when Mr. R. A. Laidlaw will speak on “The True Significance of the Lord’s Supper: Is It a Sacrifice?” * 4 * At the Beresford Street Congregational Church the Rev. Albert V. Whiting will conduct both services. His-subjects will be “O Love that will Not Let Me Go” and “A Miss is as Good as a Mile.” * • * The Rev. H. A. G. Clark will speak at the men’s brotherhood meeting in the Y.M.C.A. * • • “Crimes and Calamities: The Cause, the Remedy,” will be the sermon at the International Bible Students’ meeting. Mr. McGillivray, of New York, will speak. • * • At the Progressive Church of Spiritualists Alma Street, Newmarket, Mr. Fitton will speak on “The Way of Inspiration.” At the Christian Spiritualist Church. Mackelvie Street. Mr. Belz’s subject will be “Biblical Witness of Spiritualism.” • * * The Rev. Otene Paora will preach at the Orakei Native Reserve. * * • The Rev. Raymond Preston will continue the evangelistic mission in Pitt Street Methodist Church tomorrow morning and evening. A mass meeting for men will be held in the afternoon. Services .will take place each evening at 7.30 nnd on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at 2.30. ANNIVERSARY SERVICES ST. JOHN’S, PONSONBY ROAD Tho anniversary of St. John’s Methodist Church. Ponsonby Road, will be celebrated on Sunday next, when special services will bo held in tho morning, afternoon and evening. At the morning service an address will be delivered by the Rev. E. T. Olds and the solo “Jerusalem” will be sung by Mr. J. L. Heath, the anthem being "I Will, sing of Thy Power.” In the afternoon a musical service will be presided over by Mr. W. J, Holdsworth, chairman of the Auckland Power Board. The Rev. George Bond will unveil an “In Memoriam” window. Solos will be given by Mesdames W. H. Simpson and N. Nicholls. and Messrs. F. E. Sutherland and W. Gemmell. The anthems will be “The Strife is O’er,” "Gloria” (Mozart), “Across tho Bar,” and "God Is a Spirit.”

For twenty minutes before the evening service organ recitals will be given by Mr. W. H. Simpson. The evening service, conducted by the Rev. George Frost, will also be accompanied bv music. Mrs. W. H. Simpson, Miss H Rosleur and Mr. R. E. Errington will contribute solos. The anthems. “The Lord is Great.” “Saviour, Thy Children Keep,” and “Hallelujah Chorus,” will be given by the choir. Thank offerings for the trust fund will be taken.
