H.M.S. DUNEDIN. —H.M.S. Duned'n, which has been on a month's cruise to the South Sea Islands, is due at Auckland at five o’clock this evening. She will berth at Sheerlegs Wharf.
PASSENGERS BY MOOLTAN. —Passengers for New Zealand by the Mooltan. which left London on June 27 for Sydney, where she is due on August 7, include Miss M. Ross and Miss W. A. Ross, for Lyttelton.
NORFOLK CLEARS CURACAO.— The Federal Line steamer Norfolk, which left Wellington on July 3 for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, is reported to have cleared Curacao on Tuesday.
TURAKINA’S MOVEM ENTS.— The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina. which left Wellington on July 3 for London, via Panama ami Curacao, is reported to have left Curacao on Tuesday.
CAMBRIDGE LEAVES CURACAO.— The Federal Line steamer Cambridge is reported to have cleared Curacao on Tuesday in continuation of her voyage from Gisborne to London. Tho vessel left Gisborne on July 4.
AORANGI FROM VANCOUVER. —The Royal Mail liner Aorangi is due at Auckland on August 10 from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva. The vessel is scheduled to leave Auckland on August 11 at 10 p.m. for Sydney.
HUNTINGDON AT H ALI F A X.— Cabled advice has been received that the Federal steamer Huntingdon arrived at Halifax last Saturday morning. She left Auckland on July IS for New York. Halifax and London, via the Panama Canal.
KOUTUNUI FOR WANGAN Ul.— The small coastal steamer Kapiti has laid up at Wellington to enable her conversion from steam to Diesel propulsion to take place. The recently-converted motorvessel Koutunui is to take up the running in the Wanganui-Wellington trade while the Kapiti is being converted. THE MAKURA. —The Royal Mail liner Makura is due at San Francisco today from Wellington. The vessel is scheauled to leave San Francisco next Wednesday for Sydney, via Wellington. She is due at Wellington on August 25, via Papeete and Rarotonga, and at Sydney on August 30.
NAVIGATION WARNING.— The Marine Department has received advice from the master of the Nelson ferry steamer Matangi, Captain ■ Hay, that when four miles WSW of Sincalir Head on Tuesday night, a heavy sea carried a wav portion of the ship’s railing, and 11 drums of oil were washed overboard, and are likely to be a danger to navigation. REMUERA’S PASSENGERS. The following passengers arrived at Wellington from England by the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera on Wednesday:—First saloon: Mrs. I. U. and Miss A. E. Buchanan, and Mr. U. E. Hooleys. Second saloon: Miss E. Low, Mrs. Ness, Master B. Ness, Mr. S. Underwood, Mr. E. T. Golden, Mr. R. E. Young; and IS third class. -
ARMADALE AT PANAMA. —The A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Armadale, en route from New York to New Zealand, is reported to have reached Panama on Tuesday. The vessel has a cargo of general merchandise for discharge at Suva, Auckland, Wellington Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Sydney She is due at Auckland on August 25. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent. KAPUNf AND HAWERA. —The conversion of tho smail wooden, steamer Kapuni into a motor-vessel is now practically completed, and she is to come cft the slip lit Auckland today, and will undergo trials early next week. The Kapuni is expected to leave Auckland about the end of next week for Wellington to re-enter the Patea trade. The same company’s steamer Hawera is expected to leave Wellington on Saturday for Auck land, where she will be similarly converted from steam to oil.

The Esperance Bay is due at Sydney on August 4.
ARGYLLSHIRE’S MOVEMENTS.—The Federal steamer Argyllshire was able to work Wanganui on Wednesday, and was expected to leave there last evening for Timaru to continue loading. RUAPEHU FROM SOUTHAMPTON. — The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Ruapehu is scheduled to leave Southampton today for Wellington, where she is due on September 10 with passengers, mail and cargo. TAHITI FOR SYDNEY.— The Royal Mail liner Tahiti, which reached Wellington on Wednesday morning *from San Francisco after being delayed for two days by stormy weather, left yesterday afternoon for Sydney. THE ULIMAROA. — The HuddartParker Company’s intercolonial steamer Ulimaroa is to leave Sydney this afternoon for Wellington with pasesngers, mails and cargo. She is due at 'Wellington on Tuesday morning. NIAGARA AT SUVA.—Cabled advice . from Suva reports the arrival there of the Roy a 1 mail liner Niagara from Auckland at II o’clock this morning, en route from Sydney to Vancouver. The vessel is scheduled to resume her voyage ak 5.30 o'clock this evening. THE GOLDEN COAST. —Efforts arc being made to dispatch the O. and O. steamer Golden Coast tomorrow night for Wellington to continue unloading her cargo from the Pacific Coast. Her local agent is Henderson and Macfariane, Limited. NOBEL COMPANY’S VESSELS. —The ketch Mire arrived at Westoprt on Wednesday evt \ing and sailed for Auckland yesterday > ith a cargo of explosives. The schooner T lia leaves Sydney today for Grafton, where she will load timber for Auckland. LADY LEWIS WITH PHOSPHATES. —Cabled advice received by Henderson and Macfariane. Ltd., states that the steamer Lady Lewis cleared Nauru Island yesterday with a cargo of phosphates for unloading at Auckland and Wanganui. She is expected to arrive here on August 11. HENZADA FROM NEW YORK. —No radio report had been received this morning from the C. and D. Line’s chartered steamer Henzada, which is expected to advise the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company at any time now as to the time of her arrival from New York. The v« sat I is to bertb at Prince's Wharf to discharge tho local portion of her general cargo. PORT FREMANTLE SAILS DAYBREAK.—Now at Queen's Wharf taking in the local consignment of her cargo for Great Britain, the Commonwealth and Dominion Dine vessel Port Fremantle is to be dispatched at daybreak tomorrow for Gisborne to complete her cargo. The vessel is to sail finally from Gisborne on Monday, via the Panama Canal. She is also taking a number of. passengers. Her local agent is the Farmers* Co-opera-tive Auctioneering Company. RNGITIKI REPORTS.— A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from its motor-liner Rangitiki, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington, states that she expects to arrive at the capital on Tuesday evening, a day ahead of scheduled time. The vessel has passengers and mails for New Zealand and a cargo of general merchandise for discharge. The Rangitiki will call at Wellington only to land her passengers and mails and will then proceed to Lyttelton. Port Chalmers and Bluff to put out her cargo.
MAUNGANUI SAILS 3 P.M. —At three o’clock this afternoon the Union Steam Ship Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Maunganui, now at Queen's Wharf, is to be dispatched for Sydney direct. She is due at Sydney on Tuesday morning.

KATOA SAILS 8 P.M.—The Union Company advises that the Katoa is to be dispatched at S o’clock this evening for Newcastle, where she ■will load a coal cargo for Napier and possibly Auckland. MIRRABOOKA FROM SAN FRANCISCO.—The Swedish motor-ship Mirrahooka arrived late last night from Ban Francisco and berthed at Queen’s Wharf to discharge her local portion of general cargo. The vessel left San Francisco on July 12 and experienced line weatner all the way except for two days after leaving Niue Island, when she ran into heavy seas and strong winds. She is carrying general cargo, including 75 tons of copra. The trip was accomplished in record time—l 9 days —and the vessel, which is a new one. is the first of a contemplated new service to reach Auckland. She will sail from Auckland tomorrow for Wellington. Bluff and Australia. Captain R.
