Forced into bankruptcy by his son, Mildward Houghton, farmer, Hamilton, appeared before the official assignee, Mr. V. R. Crowliurst, today. The only creditor was his son, Denis Houghton, who was not present. A debt of £7G 16s was in respect of a judgment obtained by the son against bankrupt on a claim for wages, and the only asset was £4O due from a sharemilking contract, which was disputed.
