“THE MIGHTY” Six difficult character shadings, each requiring the utmost in histrionic skill, were demanded of George Bancroft in his latest all-talking Picture, The Mighty,” which is now at the LvriC Theatre. Bancroft is first shown as a cowering “draft dodger.” intimidated oy Warner Oland, the leader of his mob. He enters the war as a private, wins promotion through acts of bravery, and emerges a hero. His complete legeiieration is accomplished at the end of the picture in one of the most spec tacular climaxes ever screened, when he leads a mighty corps of mounted police officers in pursuit of his old Ralston. O. P. Heggie, Raymond Hatton and Morgan Farley have important roles. “Eyes of the World.” Harold Bell Wright’s novel, is being filmed by United Artists, under direction of Henry King, who also directed the same author's “Winning of Barbara Worth.”
