“THE VAGABOND KING” Outstanding film programmes arg being presented at the Tivoli Theatre. Tonight sees the final screening of "Condemned/’ the powerful drama of life at the French penal settlement of Devil’s Island, with Ronald Oolman. A.nn Ho.rding and Louis Wolheim in leading roles. From tomorrow the Tivoli Theatre will present “The Vagabond King.” the brilliant and melodious screen adaptation of the successful musical comedy of the same name. Denis King’s, glorious voice is heard singing in tlm* role of Francois Villon, the vagabond tramp, who became King of France for si few days in the 15th century Jeanette MacDonald and Lillian Roth also acpear. This is an all-colour production. Excellent talkie supports wjll also be shown tomorrow.
