SHIP OVERDUE AND CARGO BOILED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Fruit which arrived by the Tahiti two days late from Paratonga and Papeete was overheated to a condition known in trade circles as boiled and was marketed in a deplorable condition. Some bananas were absolutely unsaleable, and others sold for from 6d to Is a case. The oranges in repacking will probably lose 50 per cent., and the tomatoes are in the same plight and are selling at from 4s to 6s a case. There is, of course, some cargo in good condition, but the rest is either ripe or rotten.
