ELECTION OF MEMBERS The following have been elected members of the Auckland Education Board, in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act 1914: William J. Campbell, R. A. Rew, G. E. Spooner (Auckland Urban Area); Sydney B. Sims (Hamilton Urban Area); E. C. Purdie (North Ward, Rural Area); E. C. Banks (East Ward, Rural Area); John Patterson (West Ward, Rural Area). The details of the voting were as follow: Auckland Urban Area.— Isabella Martin Benfell 39, William James Campbell 206, William Henry Newton 99, James Prentice McPhail 53, Robert Archibald Rew 171, Harry Shaw 39, George Edwin Spooner 154. Hamilton Urban Area.—Frederick Archibald de la Mare 7, Sydney Bennett Sims 25. West Ward of the Rural Area.—James Boddie 256, Richard Eyre 43. John Patterson 321.
