Lynch were among the passengers for Wetlngton by the Limited last evening. Mr. P. A. Munro has been appointed stationmaster at Dargaville in succession to Mr. J. A. Mackenzie, and left Auckland today to take up his new duties. Mr. J. F- Shepherd, formerly manager of the Te Ivauwhata and crai oi Experimental Farms, has been appointed agricultural instructor at Hamilton. Mr. George M. Moir. M.Sc., Otago University, who has been attached to the Reading Dairy Institute, England, tor the past three years, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Reading. Dr. Reynold Boyd, formerly of Te Aroha, has been appointed Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. and will return to New Zealand shortly.
