A large congregation assembled at the Pitt Street Methodist Church last evening, when the Rev. Raymond Preston, of England, continuing his evangelistic campaign, spoke on the subject, “Ye Must Be Born Again.” Ho declared new birt> to be entirely the work of the Holy Spirit. It could not be received through culture, education, moral effort or any other human means. Attending at divine worship and the sacrament was the way by which the spiritual life was developed.
