DRAGGED BY TRACTOR
MAN’S HIP DISLOCATED Press Association MASTERTOX, Tuesday. An employee of the Masterton County Council, Mr. John A. Watt a married man, was injured this morning while working a tractor on the Ruamahunga River-bed, Te Oreore. There was no eye-witness of the accident. Apparently Mr. Watt was reversing the tractor when he was thrown to f the ground. He was dragged along* for some distance, and then the tracUu dropped into Bft. or 10ft. of water. The injured man was not noticed tor half an hour, and was then found on the river-bed. He was immediately taken to hospital, when an X-ray examination was made. It was found that he was suffering from a dislocated hip and from shock.
