MT. EDEN PARTY
FOOTBALL CLUB MEMBERS ENTERTAINED An enjoyable evening was given by Air. and Miss Ward, of Prospect Terrace, Atount Eden, to the Burnley Football Club members and their friends on Saturday evening. Dancing, games and competitions passed a happy time. Alusical items were given by MrStudman, a duet by Airs. S- Cole and Master B. Cole, and Aliss Zelma Spry gave a recitation. Aliss Ward received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette, with lemon posy. Among those present were: Mrs. J. Spry, beige georgette and lace; Mrs. A. Williams, black crop© de chine and lace; Airs. S. Cole, red velvet; Airs. Wilford, fawn silk; Airs. Gay black marocain with silver trimming; Miss E. Lucas, pink georgette with lace applique; Aliss R. Garton, scarlet and beige georgette; Aliss Z. Spry, lemon georgette; Miss K. Gay, red georgette; Miss F. Greathead, lemon georgette; Aliss G. Jones, anklo-length frock of white satin and silver lace; Aliss J. Walters, anklelength orange crepe de chine, with silver trimming; Aliss Lois Spry, lilac taffeta; Aliss N. Williams, eau de nil taffeta and silver net; Aliss S. Atoon, black satin.
