ROTARY CLUB DISCUSSION The informal discussion on “Land Settlement” begun last Monday at the Auckland Rotary Club .uncheon was continued at yesterday’s luncheon There was a large attendance of members and visitors A report is to be drawn up by a committee dealing with Rotary’s views on the question, along with suggestions for curing unemployment. A vote of sympathy was passed with Mrs. W. D. Munn, of Devonport, whose husband, a member of the Rotary Club was found drowned yesterday. Many members attended the funeral at O’Neill’s Point Cemetery this afternoon. Congratulations were extended by the chairman, Air. C. J. Tunks, on behalf of the club, to the newly-ap-pointed Commissioner of Police, Mr. W. G. Wohlmann. Visitors today included Air. A. J. Heighway, of Wellington, and Atessrs F. G. Wayne, of Thames, H F French, of Hastings, and P. W. and A. K. Peters, of Napier.
